Nurse Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Clinical Decision Unit, CDU, at Willis-Knighton Bossier is looking for an energetic, caring, and hard -working individual for our 8-bed observation unit. This is a 12-hour, 0645-1915 day shift position with a rotating pattern, off every other weekend. Job duties include, but are not limited to: taking vital signs, assisting patients with personal care, turning & repositioning, transporting, and answering call lights. Must be able to prioritize job assignments and be a self-starter when you are working this unit. This position is not the same as a medical assistant. An applicant with a prior history of working in an acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
