About This Position
Job Summary
The Evening-Weekend Supervisor will assist management in all operations of the Health Club. The responsibilities include monitoring the fitness floor, handling membership issues, supervising staff in the absence of management, and tending to pool and equipment maintenance issues.

Adheres to established policies on privacy and security requirements for compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as applicable by Shannon Policy.
Responsibilities

Oversees all club operations on evenings and weekends

Monitors and interacts with members to insure that their programs are safe and effective

Maintains a clean and safe work environment by ensuring cleanliness of the club at all times

Records any accidents that occur, investigate the cause, and fill out occurrence report in an accurate and timely manner

Thoroughly assists with opening and closing of club

Is receptive to member needs, wants, and suggestions. Answers all questions with high standard of customer service.

Assist with laundry duties

Enforces policies and procedures

Effectively, tactfully, and empathetically handles member complaints/conflicts and assists with the resolution

Adequately assist management with administrative functions

Assist with management general club projects and pool maintenance

Assis with supervision of Nursery, Front Desk, and Fitness staff, and to step in when needed

Seeks out opportunity to improve each members experience while in the club

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma, Required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, Preferred
Experience
- 1 year of Health/Fitness industry experience, Preferred
Certifications & Licensures
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Required
- ACSM, ACE, AFAA, or NSCAA, Preferred
- NPTA, Preferred
