About This Position

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the manager (or designee) and according to established practices, performs patient care services by performing skills and procedures necessary for providing required instruments and varying aspects of patient care before, during and after the delivery procedure. In addition, assisting the medical and nursing staff with efficient and effective departmental patient flow by maintaining records and inventories related to patient care activities.

  • Education/Experience

    • The level of knowledge ordinarily acquired through the completion of high school level course work. Ability to read, write, and spell.
    • Fundamental understanding of medical terminology and computer skills.
    • Previous Patient Care/Hospital Experience – Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Tech
    • Heartsaver CPR
    • NRP within one year of hire to position.
    • Fundamental understanding of sterile technique
