Family Nurse Practitioner at Walsh Hospital District Healthcare Center – Walsh, Colorado

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) serves as a medical provider in the Walsh Medical Clinic under the supervision of the Medical Director. The NP is responsible for quality and completeness of assigned medical services.

Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and in accordance with standardized procedures, the NP is responsible for providing medical care to both adult and pediatric patients, including well care, management of chronic conditions, family planning, cancer screenings, minor emergencies and trauma, treatment of acute illnesses, and other miscellaneous services.

Must possess and maintain a license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Colorado and a DEA license with full prescriptive authority. Maintenance of BLS is required and ACLS, NRP, and PALS are recommended.
