POSITION SNAPSHOT
In this role you will support FlackTek’s financial accuracy, transparency, and operational decision-making by preparing financial statements, analyzing ERP and operational data, and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting standards. You will play a key role in the integrity of financial reporting by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and supporting the monthly and annual close processes. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure ?nancial processes are accurate, efficient, and continuously improving. You will also contribute to audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and strong financial controls that support FlackTek’s growth and operational excellence.

PRIMARY OUTCOMES
Month-End Close Accuracy = 99% with all assigned journal entries completed by deadline
Bank and Key Account Reconciliation Completion Rate = 100% monthly
Financial Reporting Timeliness: Internal financial reports delivered within prescribed timelines.
ERP Data Integrity for assigned accounts = 99% accuracy
External Audit Support: All assigned audit requests completed within required timelines
Process Improvement Contributions: Minimum of 2 accounting process improvements implemented annually
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare journal entries including accruals, adjustments, and cutoff entries
Produce assigned financial reports and analysis from ERP data
Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts monthly
Analyze gross margin, expenses, fixed assets, and cost of goods sold
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
Assist with external audit documentation and audit requests
Maintain and reconcile payroll, accounts payable, and invoicing financial data
Apply GAAP principles to financial transactions and reporting
Ensure compliance with cost accounting and FAR requirements where applicable
Maintain financial records within ERP and related systems
Perform treasury support activities including ACH, positive pay, and cash application
Monitor sales tax, payroll tax, and property tax obligations for assigned areas
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Research accounting guidance, regulatory updates, and GAAP changes as needed
Document accounting procedures and ensure adherence to financial controls
Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration with an accounting emphasis, or equivalent experience
Experience:
2+ years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Experience:
Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience supporting external audits and financial close cycles
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Epicor ERP software
Familiarity with cost accounting and FAR compliance requirements

Role Type: Full Time - Exempt
Location: Onsite, in person in Louisville, CO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm
Travel: Up to 5% (domestic)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation:
Annual Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000
