Description:
  • Ensures all equipment is functioning effectively and is properly maintained.
  • Completion of all assigned preventive maintenance on systems and equipment.
  • Identifies, reports and corrects maintenance issues and reports to Department Leadership.
  • Trouble shoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and other hospital systems as required.
  • Performs equipment rounds and documents failures and equipment performance to department leadership. Provides a daily shift report to department leadership.
  • Assists Department Leadership with scheduling and overseeing shutdowns and outages associated with maintenance or construction.
  • Serves as first responder to off shift maintenance request.
  • Completes work orders in a timely manner as assigned.
  • Manages the building automation system to ensure efficient use of energy.
  • Responsible for completing special projects as assigned by department leadership.
  • Ensures the CEP and other mechanical spaces are kept clean and organized.
  • Communicates with other departments regarding maintenance issues.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
