About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with a team to troubleshoot mechanical issues, replace worn parts such as gaskets and alternators, and perform routine inspections to prevent future failures. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar mechanical role focused on diesel trucks.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, fuel systems, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy vehicles as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized institution such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in diesel mechanics.
• Experience working with commercial diesel trucks in a fleet environment.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and software.
• Additional training or certification in hydraulics or fuel system repair.
