Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support services that enhance residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being while maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, in accordance with each resident’s Care Plan.
- Deliver personal care services with compassion, professionalism, and respect for resident dignity.
- Assist with medication management in accordance with company policy and training.
- Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, cognitive, or behavioral condition and promptly report concerns to management.
- Accurately document resident care and observations in the electronic care plan (ECP) system each shift.
- Interact positively with residents and families to support a welcoming, respectful community environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly living environment for residents.
- Respond promptly to call systems, pages, and emergency situations in accordance with policies and scope of practice.
- Provide emergency care as trained and appropriate.
- Participate in reviews and care coordination with nursing staff.
- Assist with household tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal service support as needed.
- Carry assigned communication devices and respond promptly while on duty.
- Complete all assigned tasks and documentation by the end of each shift.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with DHS 83 and DHS 89 regulations, as applicable.
- Provide tours and basic facility information to the public in a professional manner when requested.
- Attend all required staff meetings, in-services, and educational programs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Report to work on time and prepared for scheduled shifts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or management team.

Requirements:Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- One year of experience in an assisted living or senior care environment preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Training
- Current CNA certification (preferred).
- CBRF certified in First Aid/Choking, Fire Safety, and Standard Precautions preferred.
- Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.
