General Statement of Responsibilities

Performs general production duties in a J.I.T. manufacturing system, e.g. – Employee Involvement, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Housekeeping, Elimination of Waste, Communication, Coordination, etc. that meets production and customer requirements.

Qualification Requirements

· Operates Automated Inspection Equipment including set-up and adjustments.

· Operates measurement and test equipment required to ensure that quality requirements are met.

· Records statistical process control data.

· Housekeeping

· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

· Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Performs work accurately and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Instructions, ISO/TS16949 Procedures and other relevant documents.

· Meets all quality specifications.

· Meets internal and external customer delivery schedules and commitments on a consistent basis.

· Understands and follows all health, safety, environmental regulations/rules at all times.

· Always maintains equipment and work area in a neat and orderly manner.

· Maximizes equipment run time and material yield.

· Accurately completes reports, logs, and other documentation.

· Understands and follows Company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent. Good mechanical aptitude.

Physical Demands

• Able to reach above shoulder, bend, and stoop.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment in areas where applicable and/or dictated by task.
• Able to use mobile equipment devices.
• Able to stand the entire shift if required.
• Able to sit the entire shift if required.
