About the Role:
The Leasing Agent plays a critical role in the property management team by serving as the primary point of contact for prospective tenants. This position is responsible for marketing available rental properties, conducting property tours, and facilitating the leasing process from application to move-in. The Leasing Agent ensures that all leasing activities comply with fair housing laws and company policies, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Success in this role directly impacts occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction, contributing to the overall profitability and reputation of the property. The Leasing Agent must balance strong sales skills with excellent customer service to build lasting relationships with tenants and support the property management team.

Minimum Qualifications:T
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing regulations applicable in the United States.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse tenant populations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed to accommodate prospective tenants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Experience with property management software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse tenant base.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding leasing targets in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and present available units to prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Process rental applications, verify applicant information, and communicate leasing terms and conditions clearly.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant communications, and lease agreements in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are ready for occupancy and address tenant concerns promptly.
- Market available properties through various channels including online listings, social media, and community outreach to attract qualified applicants.
