Senior Content Designer REMOTE
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Content Designer - REMOTE. In this role, you will help to improve government services by creating user-centered content strategies. Your work will be essential in shaping how individuals interact with digital governmental services, ensuring that users can easily find and understand the information they need. As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate to advocate for best practices in content design while delivering impactful solutions that prioritizes inclusivity and clarity. Your contributions will directly support transformative public service delivery.
Accountabilities- Improve government services by tailoring pertinent information to the needs of their users
- Research, edit, write, and organize content describing government programs and initiatives
- Write clear, usable, and accessible text in plain language
- Set the tone for content and develop a unified voice
- Write UX copy for government applications
- Test content with users and make adjustments based on user feedback
- Offer recommendations for a consistent content strategy across projects
- Plan and facilitate content strategy workshops and brainstorming sessions
- Able to advocate for a content-driven approach through training and guidance
- Think strategically about the role of content in business and user experience
- Take an evidence-based, decision-making approach to content design
- Apply best practices for writing user-centered content
- Basic tech skills, including editing website content with markup languages
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional services environment
- Passionate about enhancing public outcomes through government services
